INWA Anambra Re-Elects Chief Agbom

Hon. Chief Moses Agbom (Ezinna) has been re-elected as the President General of the Ikwonoyo Welfare Association (INWA), Anambra State Axis.
The election, which was held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Emka Hotel Amawbia in Awka, marked a significant moment for the Ikwo Noyo community residing in Anambra State.
In a heartfelt appreciation message, Chief Agbom congratulated himself and all newly elected executives, acknowledging their collective commitment to the service of the Ikwonoyo people. He described his re-election as a “testament to our dedication in serving the good people of Ikwonoyo,” and reaffirmed his resolve to complete his God-given agenda for the forum.
Chief Agbom extended his sincere gratitude to the Electoral Committee, ably led by Comrade Alefia Chidioke (TAAFU), for conducting a transparent and credible election. He also thanked all registered members, clubs, observers, security operatives, and stakeholders who contributed to the success of the election.
Appealing to candidates who were not elected, the President General emphasized unity and collaboration. “INWA is a home we are building away from home. Let’s join hands in building a formidable forum where brotherhood coexists in love and kindness for our collective progress,” he said.
Chief Agbom also called for broad partnership among Ikwonoyo members, stakeholders, and the global Ebonyi community, pledging inclusive leadership that gives value and voice to everyone.
He expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Bldr. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru (Onwa Oferekpe), for his leadership and empowerment programs under the “People’s Charter of Needs” initiative. He also thanked the Executive Chairman of Ikwo LGA, Hon. Barr. Sunday Basil Nwankwo (SBN), for his support and concern for the Ikwonoyo people both at home and abroad.
