ICYMI: Man ‘kills’ WhatsApp admin after removal from group

A Pakistani man has been charged with murder after allegedly shooting the administrator of a community WhatsApp group for removing him from the chat.
According to Pakistani Police said on Saturday, the victim, Mushtaq Ahmed, was killed on Thursday evening in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Authorities said the suspect, identified only as Ashfaq, was removed from the WhatsApp group following an argument. Mushtaq’s brother stated that the two had agreed to meet for reconciliation, but Ashfaq allegedly arrived armed and opened fire, killing Mushtaq.
Police reports indicate that Ashfaq was enraged over his removal from the group, leading to the fatal attack.
