Gunmen attack Sunshine Stars, ball boy injured

The Sunshine Stars Football Club of Ondo has been attacked by gunmen.
The team was reportedly attacked on the Ore-Benin expressway on their way to confront Bendel Insurance of Benin in a matchday 13 encounter.
The team manager and the ball boy attached to the team were reportedly hit by the gunshot, while other players sustained various degrees of injuries.
Speaking via telephone to Radio Nigeria, the media officer of the club, Michael Akintunde, victims were currently receiving treatment in a hospital.
