Ghanaian Church Honor 20 Girls’ Keeping Their Virginity

The 20 young girls were celebrated by Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church in the Wenchi West District of the Midwest Ghana Conference, Borno Region, for preserving their Virginity over a week.

These girls are 13 to 16 years old, were honored during a special thanksgiving service and received meaningful financial support. 

As reported by Ghanaweb,the ceremony was conducted by the Young Adventist Women Ministries and aimed to promote moral integrity, rooted in Christian and Cultural Values. 

Mrs. Nana Amponsah Poku, the coordinator of the Young Adventist Women Ministries, expressed the initiative’s focus on nurturing the holistic development of the young women. 

She emphasized the crucial role of self-confidence wise decision making, encouraging the young girls to maintain their purity and choose friends wisely in the year ahead. 

Associate Pastor Andrew Dua Bour Kyered praised the honorees for their discipline and purity. He encouraged them to prioritize education and faith, urged other young girls in the Church and community to emulate their exemplary behavior. 

Pastor Kyered urged parents to play an active role in guiding their children toward virtuous living and instilling strong moral values.
