Fubara Should Join APC To Sustain Peace In Rivers – Onishe Of Ubulu-Uku
The Traditional Prime Minister (Onishe) of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom, Chief James Endurance Onwordi Ibori Ubulu, has urged the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, to consider joining the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Chief Onwordi, who also serves as the Senior Special Assistant on Youth Mobilisation, made the appeal while commending the recent reconciliation between Governor Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
He praised President Bola Tinubu’s intervention in brokering peace between the two political leaders and described the truce as a major step towards restoring stability in the state.
“Fubara’s move to join APC would help consolidate the peace we are beginning to see in Rivers,” Onishe said, while applauding both Fubara and Wike for demonstrating maturity by embracing the peace initiative.
