EBHA Deputy Speaker's Aide laid to rest

The Personal Assistant to the Deputy Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, EBHA, Rt Hon Chinedu Ogba has been laid to rest in his country home, Osege Village, Umuogudu Oshia Ngbo in Ohaukwu Local Government Council of Ebonyi State.

The Personal Assistant, Comr Eze Ifeanyichukwu Eleke who doubles as the FON Youth Movement Coordinator, Umuogudu Oshia Ngbo was involved in a ghastly motor accident alongside 3 Legislative Aides of the Deputy Speaker and one of the supporters on 11th January 2025 along Izhiangbo -Ishieke section of Abakaliki Enugu/Expressway way.

The burial which took place on 12th February 2025 at her father’s compound, Osege Village, Umuogudu Oshia Ngbo was attended by top government functionaries to include; His Excellency Rt Hon Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru FNIOB GGCEHF, Governor of Ebonyi State represented by the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Princess Patricia Onyemachi Obila, Member Representing Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency, Hon Eze Nwachukwu Eze, Members of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly led by the Leader of the House, Rt Hon Kingsley Ikoro, Commissioner for Capital City Development, Chief Sunday Elechi Inyima, Commerce and Industry, Chief Oguzor Offia Nwali, Power, Hon Peter Ogeali.

Others are, SSA’s and SA’s to the Governor, LG Government council Chairmen, Members of Boards and Commission, Development Centre Coordinators, Security Chiefs, Guest Artistes like Prince Gozie Okeke, Chika Okpara, De Lamb, Ebubedike and Obere Nwa, among others.

The clergymen, member’s of FON Youth Movement, members of Ngbolizhia Evangelical Group, Students, Legislative Aides to the Deputy Speaker, Support groups etc also attended the burial.

In his oration, the Deputy Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedu Ogba Onah expressed deep sorrow over the unfortunate demise of his hard-working and reliable Aide whom he described his defender 1. He recounted his trajectory with the late Aide and prayed for his soul repose. He emphasized the wickedness in the village and advised evil doers to repent and give their lives to Christ, noting that, their Waterloo was near.

The funeral featured, Condolence messages from the Governor, House of Assembly Members, Excos Legislative Aides, FON Youth Movement and financial support to complete the house the deceased was building.

The deceased was the only son of the mother and sadly, the 2nd graduate in his village.
