- Eligibility Criteria of DAAD Helmut Scholarship 2026:
- Bachelor’s degree with above-average grades (upper third)
- Graduation not earlier than January 1, 2019
- Relevant practical experience (internships, work, social or political engagement)
- Clear commitment to contributing to the development of home country
- English language proficiency (requirements vary by course)
- Applicants must not reside in a non-DAC country for more than 15 months before application.

- Letter of motivation (max. 2 pages for both courses)
- Europass CV (include date and explain any gaps)
- Bachelor’s degree certificate (with certified translation if necessary)
- Transcript of records (with grading scale explanation)
- Language certificate (e.g., TOEFL/IELTS)
- Proof of professional or social experience (with stamp and signature)
- Reference letter (from university or employer, signed & stamped)
- APS Certificate (for applicants from China)
