Da-Pro’s New Single ‘My Lady’ Drops Jan 7th
After the successful release of his song titled “SENSE” which trended all over Africa and beyond, Nigerian-born artist and “Sense” crooner, Oben Joseph popularly known by his stage name Da-Pro, is set to release his highly anticipated single, “My Lady”, on January 7th, 2025.
In a recent interview, Da-Pro shared the inspiration behind “My Lady”, revealing that the song is a soulful expression of his desire to connect with a special lady.
According to Da-Pro, the song is inspired by real-life situations. “My Lady is a soul that’s inspired by you know in real life situations,” he explained.
“I’m trying to express a feeling to a lady you know a lady that you met the minute that you really want to be in her life.”
Da-Pro went on to describe the song’s themes of love, connection, and vulnerability. “She’s a skeptic, you know what I mean,” he said.
“So like, like the lady said then you got me running into your arms, I’m not asking for too much.” These lyrics reflect Da-Pro’s desire to prove himself to the lady and win her heart.
