Corps Members Urged to Uphold Dress Code for Scheme’s Image

Corps members at the ongoing 2024 Batch “A” Stream II Orientation Course in the NYSC Lagos Camp in Iyana-Ipaja, have been charged to always properly dress in the NYSC uniforms to protect and promote the image of the scheme.
Mrs Bridget Joe-Tagbo gave the while delivering a lecture at the orientation camp in Lagos.

Joe-Tagbo gave a vivid illustration of how corps members are meant to dress and what constitutes improper dressing during the entirety of the Service year.
She emphasized the importance of being fully kitted in the NYSC uniform before approaching any of the NYSC offices or officials either for documentation, Community Development Service, or whatever the case may be.

Mrs Joe-Tagbo discussed the alignment of the NYSC policies across the thirty-six (36) states of the country including the NYSC uniform and meals timetable and this further revealed the uniformity of the policies of the scheme across its formations nationwide.
She outlined the PRS’s responsibility, which includes preparing Orientation Course policy guidelines for the orientation of corps members, workshops and implementation of policies, planning, and coordination of programs, ICT training, and seminars through statistical measures.
