11 Supreme Court Justices To be Sworn In On Monday

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola is scheduled to officiate the swearing-in ceremony for the 11 Supreme Court Justices. The Senate confirmed their appointments on December 21, 2023.
Dr Festus Akande, spokesperson for the Supreme Court, confirmed that an event will take place on Monday in the main courtroom by Chief Justice of Nigeria..
The Justices set to be sworn in include Jummai Hannatu Sankey, Chidiebere Nwaoma Uwa, Chioma Egondu Nwosu-Iheme, Haruna Simon Tsammani, and Moore Aseimo Adumein.
Additionally, Obande Festus Ogbuinya, Stephen Jonah Adah, Habeeb Adewale O. Abiru, Jamilu Yammama Tukur, Abubakar Sadiq Umar, and Mohammed Baba Idris will also take the oath.

Upon their inauguration, the Supreme Court will have its full membership of 21 justices, in compliance with the provisions of the Constitution..
