Call For Applications: Africa Impact Fundraising Grant (AIFG)

The Africa Impact Fundraising (AIF) Grant Program is an new initiative by the New Africa Fund, aimed at empowering African NGOs, community-based organizations, and social enterprises to address the pressing need for funding and fundraising expertise.
Africa Impact Fundraising Grant
- Selected organizations will start with an online training program focused on small donor campaigns. They will then put their skills into action during a 30-day fundraising challenge, with the opportunity to secure up to $5,000 USD in matching funds.
- Top-performing organizations will be invited to our training center in Kigali, Rwanda, for a week-long intensive workshop covering critical aspects of fundraising – including financial management, marketing, communications, grant writing, donor research, cultivation and retention, individual donor campaigns, and local fundraising strategies.
- Only organizations registered in one of the 55 African Union member states are eligible to apply.
Benefits of the AIF Grant program
- Up to 70 organizations will receive foundational training on individual donor campaigns.
- Selected organizations will participate in a 30-day fundraising challenge, with up to $5,000 USD in matching funds available.
- All participating organizations will receive 12 months of free fiscal sponsorship from the New Africa Fund, with the possibility of extension.
- Up to 10 top-performing organizations will be invited to a week-long intensive workshop in Kigali to deepen their fundraising expertise.
- Additional performance-based fundraising opportunities will be provided as the program develops.
Before you apply make sure you have collected the following documents to upload as PDFs:
- Organization’s Registration Document
- An organizational chart
- Most recent external audit
- If no audit is available upload five months financial statements for all accounts.
The New Africa Fund is dedicated to supporting Africa-based NGOs, CBOs, and social enterprises across various fields. Please note that we cannot provide funding to individuals, nor to organizations registered outside the African continent. We do not accept unsolicited applications.
