Anthony Joshua’s Victory reflects the Fighting Spirits of Nigerians, Says Peter Obi

The Presidential candidate of Labour in the 2023 General Election, Mr. Peter Obi says the Victory of Nigeria-born boxer, Anthony Joshua’s reflects the fighting spirit of Nigerians, especially the youths, who in the face of the most unpleasant challenges remain resilient and continue to fight, courageously, for a better nation.
Mr. Obi made the comparison in his congratulatory social media publication to Anthony Joshua on his victory at his fourth straight fight against Francis Ngannou held in Saudi Arabia on Friday.
“I congratulate Nigeria-born Anthony Joshua for winning his fourth straight fight against our African brother and Cameroonian boxer, Francis Ngannou yesterday in Saudi Arabia”
He added that “Joshua displayed the fighting spirit of Nigerians, especially the youths, who in the face of the most unpleasant challenges remain resilient and continue to fight, courageously, for a better nation. I do hope that this victory will also spur him on to win back the World Heavyweight Boxing Champion”
Mr. Obi called on Nigerians everywhere to continue to reach for greater heights in their areas of endeavor, as this will help us to build the New Nigeria we all desire.
“I also congratulate Francis Ngannou for his participation in the competition. Irrespective of the outcome of the fight, the duo represents the strength and vigor with which African youths are working towards a New Africa” he added.
