1 min readThe Head of Public Relations Unit of the State, Mrs Omolola Aladesoun, NYSC Lagos have enlightened Prospective Corps Members at the 2024 Batch “A” Stream II on the significance of maintaining a favorable image through public relations.
Mrs Aladesoun in a lecture at the ongoing 2024 Batch A stream II orientation course at iyana ipaja lagos noted that positive image is the main purpose of public relations.
PUBLIC RELATIONS AND IMAGE MAKINGÂ
Mrs. Aladesoun said the main objective of PR is to maintain a positive image for the scheme through its activities and the Corps Members.Â
She highlighted Corps Members’ responsibility as scheme ambassadors, urging them to present themselves positively.
EKO KOPA MAGAZINE AND ITS CRUCIAL ROLE
Mrs. Aladesoun also highlighted the crucial role of publications in PR efforts, particularly the significance of the “Eko Kopa” Magazine, a publication managed by the Editorial CDS group, and Public Relations Unit, as a tool facilitating communication and documentation of the Scheme’s activities.Â
NYSC DRESS CODEÂ
While speaking on the NYSC dress code, she stressed the importance of adhering to the prescribed dress code, stating that Corps Members must maintain a professional appearance at all times to uphold the image of the NYSC.
