Aladesoun Charges Lagos corps Members To Uphold Good Image of NYSC
Mrs. Omolola Aladesoun, Head, Public Relations, NYSC Lagos, and the Committee Head, Publicity and Protocol, at the ongoing NYSC Lagos Orientation Course in Iyana-Ipaja , has urged the corps members at the course to be exemplary and be ambassadors of the scheme by maintaining its image and reputation.
She Reiterated that the responsibility of every corps member to ensure that the image of NYSC scheme remains untarnished.
According to Aladesoun, guiding the corps members on the appropriate dress code during their service year, which includes the crested vest, khaki trousers, belt and jungle boots.
She also highlighted the significance of identification for every corps member stating that each corps member would be issued an identification card before the end of the orientation camp which serves as an essential means of identification and validation during their service year.
She emphasized on the strict policy of the scheme that corps members are not permitted to engage with the press or discuss NYSC matters on social media platforms.
She urged all corps members to be good ambassadors of the scheme, their family and school, to carry themselves with dignity and uphold the NYSC values, not only through their words but also through their actions and appearance, as they embark on their journey of national service.
