66 Alleged Abiola Children Failed DNA Test – Olalekan Abiola Reveals

Olalekan Abiola, one of the sons of the late Chief MKO Abiola, has revealed that 66 individuals who claimed to be children of the late business mogul and politician failed DNA tests and were disqualified from being recognized as his biological offspring.
According to him, the DNA verification was a condition set in MKO Abiola’s will, dated October 25, 1989. The late philanthropist had instructed that all individuals claiming to be his children must undergo DNA tests before being eligible to benefit from his estate.
Olalekan disclosed that out of the numerous claimants, 25 failed the DNA tests, 15 did not meet other requirements stipulated in the will, and 2 were outrightly disowned by Abiola in the document. Additionally, 24 others were excluded for not being recognized by any of his wives, bringing the total number of disqualified individuals to 66.
Only 37 individuals passed the DNA tests and were confirmed as Abiola’s biological children. Another six children, including the five he had with his first wife, Simbiat, and one from another named wife, were exempted from testing as they were explicitly acknowledged in the will.
The revelations underscore the late MKO Abiola’s foresight in safeguarding the integrity of his estate and legacy through legal and scientific means.
