Nollywood veteran Afeez Oyetoro, popularly known as Saka, has revealed a surprising demand that cost him a relationship in his younger days — the woman he intended to marry insisted he must own two cars before she would agree to settle down with him.

Afeez Oyetoro shared this personal story during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, reflecting on the challenges he faced while trying to find a life partner before fame and fortune.

“The one I was supposed to marry demanded that I must have two cars,” he recounted. “That was her condition.”

Despite his growing popularity at the time, Saka clarified that he wasn’t financially buoyant and that public perception of his wealth was often inaccurate. He also addressed the common belief that he was a brand ambassador for Etisalat during his viral commercial run.

“A lot of people thought I was an ambassador to Etisalat. No, I didn’t have any formal or official arrangement with them. I was just a model in their commercial,” he explained.

Saka’s story sheds light on the pressures and misconceptions public figures often face, especially regarding relationships and financial expectations.
