Man Vows Never to Love Again After Brother Impregnates His Girlfriend

A heartbroken Nigerian man has sworn off love after discovering that his younger brother impregnated his girlfriend—despite the man having a tattoo of his brother’s face on his back as a symbol of their bond.
The emotional revelation was shared on X (formerly Twitter), where the man recounted the betrayal. According to him, he had traveled briefly in an effort to improve life for himself and his brother. However, upon returning home, he was devastated to learn that his younger sibling had not only slept with his girlfriend but also got her pregnant.
Expressing his anguish, he wrote:
“I’d rather die than be with a woman again. I traveled and came back, only to be told that my younger brother got my girlfriend pregnant. This same brother whose face I even tattooed on my back.”
He further stated that he never expected such a betrayal, especially after all he had done for his brother, and vowed to confront him.
The story quickly went viral, sparking heated reactions on social media. While some sympathized with the man, others debated who was more at fault—his brother or the girlfriend.
Here are some reactions from users:
- @lifeissues_11: “Why would your younger brother go there? Women are emotional and can be easily swayed. I’ve seen it happen with just a few sweet words.”
- @ajib67168: “He’ll calm down and marry later. That’s the funny part.”
- @BankzChristy: “My best friend’s girl once tried to get with me, but I respected our friendship. Ironically, that same friend tried to hook up with my girlfriend.”
- @fashorodee: “Your brother is the one who betrayed you. If anyone is to blame, it’s him. That shows he could betray you in worse ways.”
- @WrldBlog007: “It wasn’t forced. The girl allowed it. They’re both to blame.”
- @ChimobiTony: “Same reason I broke up with my girlfriend—my brother also slept with her.”
