Guests Flock Oba Elegushi’s 15th Coronation Anniversary

The State Coordinator NYSC Lagos State , Mrs. Christiana Salmwang, alongside an array of distinguished personalities, attended the 15th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III

The grand celebration was held at the Monarch Event Center, Ikate, Lekki, Lagos State on Sunday.

The memorable occasion brought together a remarkable assemblage of Nigeria’s crème de la crème across traditional, political, Coporate, and business spheres.

Among the prominent attendees were the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Oba of Oniru, His Royal Majesty Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal; the Iyaloja General of the federation , Chief Mrs. Iyabo Tinubu-Ojo; the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Sam Egube, and Mr. Obinna Tochukwu Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana — a renowned Nigerian businessman, entrepreneur, and socialite, celebrated for his leadership in the entertainment and hospitality sectors through the Cubana Group.

The State Coordinator’s presence at the prestigious event underscored the NYSC’s recognition of and alignment with traditional institutions as critical stakeholders in promoting youth development, cultural heritage, and community advancement.

The 15th Coronation Anniversary was a colorful showcase of tradition, excellence, and goodwill. Highlights included live band performances, tributes, and heartfelt messages lauding Oba Elegushi’s reign, which has been marked by progressive leadership, community development, and the promotion of cultural values.

The event further served as a platform for strengthening inter-institutional collaborations and reaffirmed the importance of the synergy between traditional leadership and public service towards national development, including the National Youth Service Corps
