Business mogul Tony Elumelu had a humorous exchange with a fan on social media after the user jokingly asked to be adopted into his family.
The fan, who goes by “Elumelu Banana” on X, had responded to a question about the perfect gift by writing, “Adoption documents to Tony Elumelu’s family.”
Elumelu, the 62-year-old chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA) and a father of seven, replied with a lighthearted quip: “Looool. With 7 children, can I add more?”
The playful interaction quickly gained attention online, with many praising the billionaire’s sense of humor and the fan’s boldness. The moment also highlights the warm connection some admirers feel toward their role models, even in jest.
