WhatNext Africa has partnered with NYSC Lagos to raise a significant generation by empowering Secondary School students.
Esther Anyalewechi, a representative of WhatNext Africa, stated that the organization is dedicated to preparing secondary school students for their future educational journeys.
Esther added that WhatNext Africa focuses on guiding students from secondary school through tertiary education and beyond, hosting interactive summits and providing opportunities for post-secondary development.
She declared that collaborating with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), WhatNext Africa aims to expand its outreach. “Corps members will support students in achieving their dreams and offer guidance beyond traditional classroom teaching”. Anyalewechi emphasized that Corps members posted to schools will integrate directly, while those assigned to other organizations will partner with nearby schools to provide mentorship.
She explained that volunteers and facilitators with WhatNext Africa will gain several benefits, including the opportunity to make a significant impact on students’ lives, invest in their own personal development, receive data allowances, and earn certificates recognizing their roles as trained facilitators.
She equally asserted that through the collaboration, WhatNext Africa and NYSC aim to raise a generation of well-prepared and motivated young individuals driving positive change in their communities.
