UNILORIN Expels 19 Students, Including Final-Year Student

Management at the University of Ilorin, UNILORIN, Kwara State, has expelled 19 students, including six final-year students, for misconduct.
According to a statement released by Kunle Akogun, the Director of Corporate Affairs at UNILORIN, the Vice Chancellor, Wahab Egbewole, approved the expulsion and rustication of the students based on the recommendations of the Students’ Disciplinary Committee during its 220th/221st meeting.
The statement reports that certain students were punished for a variety of offenses, including misconduct, theft, cheating on exams, assaulting a fellow student, and participating in an admission scam.
The statement mentions that students who committed offences would face penalties of either rustication for one semester or one academic session, or expulsion..
