Tragedy in Kano as Youths Celebrating Buhari’s Death Killed in Road Accident

A tragic accident has claimed the lives of at least four young men in Kano State during a controversial rally reportedly organized to celebrate the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when a speeding trailer lost control and rammed into the gathering, crushing one of the participants on the spot. In the chaos that followed, a separate vehicle carrying three other individuals—identified as Sani, Amar, and Jafar—was also involved in the crash.
All three occupants of the car died instantly at the scene.
Residents described the atmosphere as tense, as the rally itself had drawn condemnation from some community members who viewed the gathering as provocative. Security operatives and emergency responders arrived shortly after to evacuate the remains and restore order.
