The Supreme Court is set to deliver a verdict on Nnamdi Kanu

The Supreme court will on Friday, deliver judgment on an appeal seeking to compel the Federal Government to release the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, from detention.
In a unanimous decision by a three-Man panel of Justices, the appellate court also quashed a 15-count terrorism charge the Federal Government entered against the detained IPOB leader, before the Federal High Court in Abuja.
However, dissatisfied with the judgment, the Federal Government took the matter before the Supreme Court. After listening to the final submissions of parties in the matter, a Five-Man panel of the Apex court headed by Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, fixed the matter for judgment.
