Reuben Abati Dares Babachir Lawal Over Outburst at TVC Presenter: “Let Him Try it Here”

Veteran journalist and Arise TV anchor, Reuben Abati, has called out former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, after Lawal lashed out at a TVC presenter, telling him to “shut up” during a live interview.
Reacting to the incident on Arise TV, Abati and his co-anchors condemned Lawal’s conduct as disrespectful and unprofessional.
Abati went a step further, daring the former SGF to bring that same energy to Arise TV, warning that such behavior would not be entertained on their platform.
“Let Babachir Lawal come here and try it… the kind of flogging that he will receive… he won’t be able to sleep that night,” Abati declared, making it clear that Lawal would face serious pushback if he attempted similar outbursts on their show.
