Reps donate N45M to Tudun Biri survivors
The Northern Caucus of the 10th House of Representatives, has announced the donation of N45 million for developmental projects in Tudun Biri to cushion the plight of the community following the military drone attack in the area.
The leader of the delegation Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, announced this when he led other members on a condolence visit to Governor Uba Sani at government House, Kaduna.
He said the projects would include hospital, classrooms, water boreholes and a community town hall to support the Federal Government efforts in rebuilding the community.
Alhaji Ado Doguwa revealed that, the House would come up with effective legal frame work that will enhance the performance and operations of the military and other security agencies.
The Chairman of the Caucus further stated that, the business of every government in any democratic setting is for the protection of lives and property of it people.
Responding, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State welcomed the support of the lawmakers for the gesture and called on the National Assembly revisit the security laws in the country, saying that most of them are absolute and are not inline with the global best practices.
