Police Probe BLORD Group CEO Over Alleged Fraud, CBN Act Violation

The Nigeria Police Force has launched an investigation into allegations of fraud and violation of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Act against BLORD Group of Companies and its CEO, Linus Williams.

According to a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the investigation is being conducted by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) and the Nigeria Police Cybercrime Unit (NPF-NCCC).

The allegations against BLORD Group and its subsidiaries, including BLORD Real Estate Ltd, BLORD Jetpaye Limited, and Billpoint Technology, include cryptocurrency fraud, internet fraud, computer-related fraud, terrorism funding, and non-compliance with regulatory frameworks.

The police have assured that they will conduct a thorough investigation to ensure that Nigeria’s cyber space is safe and secure.

The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be provided as more information becomes available.

WHO IS BLORD ?

The Bitcoin lord Linus Williams Ifejika was born on the 14th of March 1998 in Umuji Ebenebe, Awka North local government, Anambra state. Of the seven children of his family, Linus happens to be the first son of the family. 

There’s no clear indication of his educational upbringing. But, according to a post he shared on his Instagram, B-lord left his parent’s house at age 17 to pursue his dreams, became a millionaire at age 20, got married at age 21 and had his first child at age 22.
