PDP Stalwart, Mgboko, Defects to APC in Ebonyi

Don Philip Mgboko, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Mgboko, known for his unwavering support for the PDP, announced his decision to join the APC in a post on his Facebook page, citing his admiration for Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s vision for the state.

 “I’m honoured to speak on my motivation and decision to join the “All progressive congress “ APC in Ebonyi state”

” I’m drawn to the party by our dear Governor, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s vision for a united and prosperous Ebonyi State, that is code named “people’s charter of needs mantra”.

“my decision to join APC is drawn by my desire to be parts of a team that is dedicated to Nigeria’s growth and success, I’m committed to working tirelessly to make a positive input. Congratulations Your Excellency Rt. Hon Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, You are well seated” he added.

According to Mgboke, the Governor’s commitment to good governance, economic development, human capital development, and social justice aligns with his own values and aspirations for the state.

“His commitment to good governance, economic development, human capital development and social justice is a testament of his love for Ebonyians, this aligns with my own values and aspirations for our dear state. “

“Furthermore, I’m inspired by Governor Nwifuru‘leadership ingenuity which has united all the known stakeholders of the state, this will not only boast the viability of the state, but will further strengthen our connectivity to the central government”.

This defection is seen as a significant blow to the PDP in Izzi Local Government Area, where Mgboke was a influential figure. His move to the APC is expected to boost the party’s chances in the upcoming elections.
