Panic in Ikorodu as Uncompleted Two-Storey Building Collapses, Several Feared Trapped

There was panic in the Ota-Ona area of Ikorodu, Lagos State, on Tuesday following the sudden collapse of an uncompleted two-storey building, leaving several individuals feared trapped under the rubble.
The ill-fated structure, situated directly opposite the Mobil Filling Station (formerly known as Bugon Filling Station), crumbled unexpectedly, sparking chaos among residents and passersby.
As of the time of this report, five people have been rescued alive from the wreckage. However, the exact number of those still trapped remains unclear.
Rescue efforts are ongoing, with emergency response teams combing through the debris in search of more survivors.
Authorities have yet to officially determine the cause of the building collapse.
