NYSC Lagos Public Relations Unit Emphasizes Positive Projection in Lagos Camp

In a bid to prepare corps members for their places of assignment, and to further sensitize them about their conducts during service year, 2023 Batch “C” Stream II corps members have been urge to imbibe in positive projection and representation of the scheme at the ongoing orientation course in Iyana-Ipaja.
Mrs Aladesoun Omolola, the Head of Public Relations Unit in Lagos and the Head of Publicity and Protocol in Camp, highlighted the schedule of the Unit, stating that it maintains the image through various means such such releases, publications, maintaining relationships and ensuring anything that may impugn on the image of the scheme is detected and diffused.

She said corps members as an integral Public Relations products of the scheme also have a role to play in ensuring the scheme is positively projected. She said corps members must be good representatives of the scheme, and must ensure the image of the scheme is protected wherever they are through their conduct, and decent dressing.

She noted while in NYSC ceremonial programmes, they must be properly dressed in the NYSC uniforms and that in their place of work they must dress the way they want to be addressed. She also encouraged them to be good ambassadors of the scheme by engaging in Community Development Services, which according to her will project the image of the scheme.
Most importantly, she advised they be good representatives of their families, academic institutions and the NYSC.
