NYSC Lagos Crowns Miss NYSC, Mr. Macho in a Thrilling Contest

It was a night of glamour and excitement at the NYSC Lagos Orientation Camp as Mr. Macho and Miss NYSC emerged in a keenly contested event powered by Rite Foods Limited.

Contestants displayed intelligence, charisma, and confidence in three rounds: Physical Training, Traditional Attire, and the NYSC uniform. Each round tested their poise, femininity, and masculinity.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mobolaji Ogunlende, praised the NYSC Lagos Coordinator, Mrs. Christiana Salmwang, for organizing such a memorable event.

Delivering Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s goodwill message, Ogunlende assured them of the governor’s commitment to youth development and urged corps members to contribute to Lagos State through the THEMES Plus agenda.

Chief Judge Charles Obiakala announced the winners. The 2nd runners-up won ₦40,000, 1st runners-up received ₦60,000, and the winners took home ₦100,000 with other contestants receiving consolation prizes.

In the Miss NYSC category, Platoon 6 emerged 2nd runner-up, Platoon 5 took 1st runner-up, while the winner came from Platoon 7.

For Mr. Macho, the 2nd runner-up was from Platoon 8, the 1st runner-up from Platoon 1, and the winner represented Platoon 4.

Popular entertainer Hero Daniels hosted the event, keeping the energy high, while DJ Consequence thrilled the audience, ensuring the night ended on a vibrant and unforgettable note.
