NNPCL Reduces Petrol Price To N910 Per Litre In Abuja

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reduced the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) at its retail outlets in Abuja.
A correspondent confirmed that NNPCL filling stations across various parts of the capital city — including Zone 6, Kubwa Expressway, and Wuse Zone 4 — adjusted their pump prices on Saturday, slashing the rate from N945 to N910 per litre, marking a N35 reduction.
The price cut follows a similar move by Dangote Refinery, which earlier this week reduced its ex-depot petrol price from N880 to N840 per litre, citing falling global crude oil prices.
Independent marketers have also responded to market trends. Members of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) have dropped their pump prices to between N930 and N940 per litre in Abuja, down from N945–N975, while prices in Lagos fell from N925 to N890 per litre.
The recent adjustments offer some relief to motorists and signal a possible shift in pricing across the downstream petroleum sector.
