Napoli Clinch Serie A Title in Dramatic Final-Day Victory

Napoli have been crowned Serie A champions for the 2024–25 season after a thrilling 2–0 win over Cagliari on the final day, sealing their fourth Scudetto and second title in three years. The win saw them finish just one point ahead of Inter Milan in a closely contested race.
Led by Antonio Conte, Napoli completed a stunning turnaround from last season’s 10th-place finish. Conte, who took charge last summer, made history by becoming the first manager to win Serie A titles with three different clubs—Juventus, Inter Milan, and now Napoli.
Scott McTominay opened the scoring with a spectacular bicycle kick, while Romelu Lukaku doubled the lead with a solo goal to secure the title. Their performances proved vital in a campaign that saw Napoli rebuild after the exits of stars like Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The victory sparked wild celebrations in Naples, with over 600,000 fans gathering around the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium to celebrate the city’s return to the top of Italian football.
