Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has called on members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its allied groups to remain committed to the party’s shared vision of unity, progress, and development, despite internal challenges.

Addressing the PDP South West Zonal Caucus meeting in Ibadan on Friday, Makinde urged members not to walk away from the party, likening such actions to abandoning a house because of a leaking roof.

It is our responsibility as party members to fix the leaks, reinforce the foundation, and ensure the house remains standing for the people of this country.”
