Lagos State Welcomes 4,360 Corps Members for 2024 Batch “A” Stream I Orientation
The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu, have called on the Corps Members deployed to Lagos for the 2024 Batch “A” Stream I Orientation Course to take the opportunities in Lagos during service year to fashion out greatness for themselves.
Governor Sanwolu gave the charge during the Swearing-in Ceremony of the 2024 Barch”A” stream 1 Orientation course on Tuesday.
The Governor who was represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations, Hon. Olugbenga Oyerinde, encouraged the Corps Members to embrace the challenges that come with the service year as it is the period of learning.
Similarly, State Coordinator NYSC Lagos, Mrs Yetunde Baderinwa, enjoined the Corps Members to avail themselves of the education and opportunities provided by the NYSC programme to be the best the nation requires of them , and to register their quota as contributors to the stability of the Nigerian State.
A total of 4,360 Corps members, comprising 1,757 males and 2603 females deployed to the state for 2024 Batch “A” Stream I Orientation Course were sworn in at the NYSC Lagos Orientation Camp in Iyana-Ipaja, by the Honourable Justice Mosunmola Muyibat Balogun
