IVD Accuses Mystery Figure Of Death Threats, Child Abduction, And Looting In Explosive Post

Popular auto dealer and embattled businessman IVD has set social media ablaze with a bombshell post accusing an unnamed individual of orchestrating a relentless campaign to ruin his life.

In the now-viral statement, IVD claimed the person had paid bloggers to smear his name, threatened to kill him through poisoning or assassination, and boasted of having powerful police connections to evade justice.

“You said you’ve got all police contacts and nothing will happen if you kill me,” he wrote.

The businessman, who has remained a controversial figure since the tragic death of his wife, Bimbo, in 2022, alleged that this same individual abducted his five children and has kept them away from him for the past three years.

“You punished them and told my first daughter Ebube that we’ll never be a family again,” he said in the emotional post.

Recall that IVD’s wife, Bimbo, died under controversial circumstances after sustaining fire injuries during a domestic altercation at their Lekki home. IVD was subsequently arrested and arraigned by the Lagos State Government on a one-count charge of involuntary manslaughter. The couple had five children together.

In his latest outburst, IVD suggested that the unresolved trauma from that incident still haunts him, referencing a tragic day witnessed by residents of their estate.

He also accused the unnamed person and their associates of looting his property while he was in detention. Though the police reportedly helped recover some items, many—including his late wife’s belongings—remain missing.

“Everything you stole belongs to my kids. The day I speak, the world will know that men are going through hell too,” he declared.

IVD ended the post with a grim warning: “If anything happens to me, know that my life is in your hands. You said you’ve paid everybody to end my life. You’re not God.”
