I’m Not in Church for Money – Odumeje Reveals Why He Doesn’t Collect Tithes

Popular Anambra-based cleric, Prophet Odumeje, has explained why he refuses to collect tithes from members of his church, stating that his mission is purely spiritual, not financial.
Speaking during a recent ministration, Odumeje said his main purpose as a pastor is to prove that God is real—not to enrich himself.
“Look at a young fresh man like me. I’ll come here and be deceiving people? I no dey do church for money. Nobody pays me tithe. I am doing church to prove to you that Christ is real. That is my mission. When I finish my job, I will leave the same way Prophet Emmanuel TB Joshua left,” he said.
