Governor’s Aide Kicks Off Community Engagement in Ebonyi

The Special Assistant to the Ebonyi state Governor on Community Engagement, Hon. Nwanchor Paulinus Maduabuchi, has emphasized the critical role of grassroots participation in achieving peace and sustainable development across Ebonyi State.

Speaking during the official flag-off ceremony of a community-by-community engagement tour held on Wednesday at the Abakaliki Local Government Headquarters, Nwanchor stressed the importance of working closely with community leaders and stakeholders to tackle insecurity, youth restiveness, child servitude, and the decline in cultural values.

“This initiative is designed to bring government closer to the people by ensuring that all communities are actively involved in addressing the issues affecting their daily lives,” he stated.

He commended Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for the administration’s remarkable achievements within two years in office, noting that the commitment to inclusive governance has already yielded positive results across various communities.

Nwanchor assured residents that his office would continue to collaborate with security agencies and the Association of Ebonyi State Town Union Presidents (AEBSTUP) to maintain a safe and crime-free environment.

The event, hosted by the Executive Chairman of Abakaliki LGA, High Chief Ebere Stephen Nwogba, also featured the inauguration of the newly constituted executive committee of Abakaliki LGA Town Union Presidents.
