Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has dissolved the State Executive Council and relieved Barrister Mohammad Aliyu Ubandoma, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), of his duties.
Ibrahim Addra, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, disclosed that the announcement was made on Friday during an Executive Council meeting at the government house in Lafia.
Governor Sule described the dissolution as a routine process aimed at evaluating the administration’s progress and revitalising the council for improved performance.
While appreciating the Cabinet Members and the SSG for their services, Governor Abdullahi Sule directed them to immediately hand over the affairs of their various ministries to the Permanent Secretaries.
“I enjoyed working with you all. You have served your state with passion and utmost diligence. I value your contributions and input in our quest to serve the people of our dear state. I wish you well,” the governor stated.
The governor assured that his doors remain open to anyone with valuable suggestions on improving the welfare of Nasarawa State residents.
He wished the outgoing council members well in their future endeavours.
In a remark on behalf of the commissioners, the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Labaran Magaji, thanked Governor Sule for the opportunity to serve the state under his administration.
