Gas Explosion Kill 3 and Injure About 300 in Kenya

A gas explosion in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, has resulted in the death of at least three people and left nearly 300 individuals injured.
The incident occurred in the Embakasi district when a lorry transporting gas exploded, creating a massive ball of fire, as reported by a government spokesperson.
The explosion wreaked havoc on residences, businesses, and vehicles, with footage capturing a colossal blaze near residential blocks.
The affected area has been sealed off, and an ongoing investigation is in progress to determine the cause of the explosion. Initial reports from the government suggested that the blast occurred at a gas plant during cylinder refilling operations.
However, subsequent clarification revealed that a truck exploded in the plant’s parking yard. Fortunately, the resultant fire has been brought under control.
