A former Director of Audits at the NYSC Directorate Headquarters in Abuja,Leke Abiodun, on Saturday, gave a speech to the 2024 Batch “A” Stream I Lagos Corps Members during his visit to the NYSC Lagos Orientation Camp in Iyana-Ipaja.
In his address, he emphasized the importance of personal security and urged Corps Members to prioritize it.
He encouraged them to adopt a “selfish” approach to their safety and to avoid taking unnecessary risks.
Mr. Abiodun also spoke about the importance of proactive engagement in their professional roles.
He stressed the virtues of responsibility and excellence, urging Corps Members to embrace diligence and commit to continuous personal development.
He highlighted the transformative impact of initiatives like the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) program, which can enhance workplace skills and nurture comprehensive personal growth.
In addition, Mr. Abiodun urged Lagos Corps Members to embody the pillars of discipline, patriotism, and positivity. He encouraged them to maintain unwavering optimism, to uphold a constructive outlook, and to speak affirmatively about themselves at all times.
