Ebonyi State on the Path to Economic Growth, Says Party Chieftain

A chieftain of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress and politician in Ebonyi State , Nwofe Philip Don Mgboko has taken to social media to praise the economic strides of the Ebonyi State government under Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.

In a post on his Facebook page on Monday, Mgboko wrote: “Reinvigorating Economic Growth in Ebonyi State: The Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru Example… Ebonyi State, nestled in the southeastern region of Nigeria, has long been endowed with vast natural resources and a resilient population”.

“However, despite its potential, the state’s economy has faced significant challenges, hindering its growth and development. That was until the inception of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s administration, which has taken bold steps to reinvigorate the state’s economic growth.”

Mgboko stressed the governor’s vision for the state, saying: “Governor Nwifuru’s vision for Ebonyi State is built on a foundation of sustainable economic development, driven by strategic investments in key sectors, including Agriculture, Infrastructure development, Human Capital Development, Industrialisation, and Tourism Development.”

He lauded the governor’s efforts in revitalizing moribund industries and promoting small and medium-scale enterprises, saying: “His ability to revitalise all the moribund industry owned by the state and promoting small and medium scale enterprises to diversify the economy and create employment opportunities is commendable.”

Mgboko also noted the governor’s achievements, saying: “Through his administration’s efforts, Governor Nwifuru has attracted significant investments in various sectors, created thousands of jobs for Ebonyians, improved access to education and healthcare, and enhanced the state’s reputation as a hub for business and investment.”

He concluded by saying: “Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s leadership has demonstrated that with the right vision, policies, and commitment, economic growth and development are achievable”.

“His administration’s accomplishments within one year in office serve as a model for other states and a testament to the transformative power of effective governance. Onwaaa you are doing well Carry go we are solidly behind you.”
