Digital School Offers Film and Skills Hub Course for Corps Members

2 min read

The Lagos Digital School (LDS) representatives were at the NYSC Lagos camp.

They introduced their innovative 3-month training programs to corps members.

The courses cover a range of in-demand skills, including web design, web development, acting, scriptwriting, and directing/producing.

Ezekiel Adetuwo, the LDS spokesperson, relayed the school’s flexible hybrid learning approach. “Our programs are designed for those who prefer learning from home,” Adetuwo explained.

He said the online format allows students to complete practical, hands-on training at their own pace. This makes it ideal for busy corps members.

Adetuwo also revealed that beyond just skill-building, LDS offers valuable networking opportunities. “When you join LDS, you’re not just enrolling in a course – you’re becoming part of a community,” he emphasized.

He impressed it on corps members that students can connect with instructors and peers. They can collaborate on projects and receive feedback to boost their careers. He likewise stated that the school also helps arrange internships, providing real-world experience to complement the training.

Adetuwo confidently informed the Corps members about the highly competitive programs. These programs run from October to January and accept only about 5% of applicants.

He said the selectivity ensures corps members learn from top industry experts and graduate with job-ready skills. “Our goal is to equip corps members with the tools they need. We aim to prepare them for successful careers in the digital and creative industries,” he concluded.
