Baderinwa Lauds Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Center’s Support
NYSC Lagos State Coordinator, Mrs Yetunde Baderinwa, has praised the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Center in Oshodi, Lagos, led by Air vice Marshal A. H Ameshinlola.
The center provides accommodation, mentorship and growth opportunities to corps members during their 1-year mandatory service.
Mrs Baderinwa gave the commendation during her visit to NAFRC for the “2024 Corps Members Week” at the office of the Commandant.
Mrs. Baderinwa expressed that dedicating an entire week to activities celebrating Corps Members is a testament to the high importance given to them by the Center. It highlights the Center’s commitment to maintaining a strong and lasting relationship with the NYSC, ensuring its sustainability in the long run..
She maintained that such an activity would encourage unity among corps members and enhance their dedication to their place of assignment.
According to the Commandant, AVM Ameshinlola, the Corps Members who are currently at the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Center have been incredibly helpful. They have provided great assistance to the Center, particularly to the medical personnel who are working at the hospital in the Center.
He took the opportunity to request for more Corps Members to be posted to the Center, promising that they would continue to take good care of them.
The week-long program started on Tuesday with drills reviewed by the Commandant’s representative, Group Captain Okoh. Cultural activities were also held to entertain guests..
NAFRC receives over a hundred Corps Members who are posted for national service for a year.
