APC Unshaken by Opposition Coalition Plans - Orji Uzor Kalu

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia North has stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains unshaken by the emerging opposition coalition and is fully committed to delivering on its mandate.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja on Tuesday, the former Abia State governor emphasized that while the opposition has every right to mobilize and challenge the ruling party, the APC is focused on governance and national development.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate Peter Obi, and former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai are reportedly leading efforts to form a united political front aimed at defeating President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Reacting to this development, Kalu said:
“We are not losing sleep. APC has no reason to be afraid. We are the ruling party and passionate about Nigeria’s progress.”

He highlighted the ongoing efforts by APC leaders and stakeholders, including personal investments in job-creating industries, as evidence of the party’s commitment beyond politics.

“These endorsements are not about fear. They’re a result of the President’s bold decisions and transformative governance,” Kalu said.

He added that while the opposition is fulfilling its democratic role, the APC will stay the course and continue to deliver results that Nigerians will ultimately recognize and appreciate.

“In time, Nigerians will come to appreciate the tough choices this administration has made,” he concluded.
