Agaramugede II To intervene in Elugwu Ettam Village crisis, Promises a lasting Peace

Agaramugede II of Okpuitumo Ikwo, His Royal Highness Eze Ezekiel Oyika of Okpuitumo Ikwo, is set to address the crisis in Elugwu Ettam Village, pledging to bring lasting peace.
In a recent interview with Asiwajumedia correspondent, he expressed concern over the ongoing conflict that has led to arrests and imprisonment, vowing to expedite reconciliation efforts.
We are going to expedite action in reconciliation of those matters in Elugwu Ettam, it kept me awake all night when I discovered the at people didn’t go to their farmland in Elugwu Ettam”
The monarch emphasized the importance of restoring peace, ensuring farmers can return to their farmland in Elugwu Ettam.
“This year we are going to work hard, ensure peace and making sure that farmers go back to their farmland in Elugwu Ettam”
He plans to collaborate with Ikwo Local Government Council, Okpuitumo Ikwo General Assembly, and other stakeholders to achieve this goal.
The king also congratulated the community for successfully enthroning a king in December 2023, viewing it as a positive development for Okpuitumo Ikwo.
“I congratulate all sons and daughters of Agaramugoede for their effort in enthroning a king, it’s a sign that have convinced me that good things have come to OKPUITUMO Ikwo”
Additionally, Agaramugede II revealed plans to establish his cabinet soon.
