AE-FUNAI Ranks 18 In Nigeria

Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State has been ranked 18 among Nigerian Universities in the 2024 Times Higher Education Universities Ranking. In the ranking which was released recently. AE-FUNAI was ranked among top 39 universities in Nigeria.
The Times Higher Education is a globally-acclaimed London-based publication that focuses on issues and news related to higher education. Its ranking is based on 5 indicators – teaching, research environment, research quality, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
In the past 3 years of Prof. Sunday Elom’s stewardship as Vice-Chancellor, the university has continued to make steady and assured progress in world universities rankings, and becoming an emerging top education brand in Africa and one of the most sought-after universities in Nigeria based on verifiable evidence in its teaching, research and community service activities.
While expressing joy on the feat, the Vice-Chancellor, AE-FUNAI noted that he was not going to rest on his oars until the university takes its place among the best in Nigeria and beyond. He also commended the staff and students for their various research outputs and intellectual successes and contributions which have put the university on the global stage.
