Launched by ARM in 2015 to honor its founding CEO, Deji Alli, the award supports Nigerian youth in building innovative startups that contribute to the nation’s economic progress.
DAAYTA, a collaboration between ARM and TechnoVision’s TVC Labs, is designed to empower young Nigerians to develop entrepreneurial solutions that generate sustainable value and align with Nigeria’s long-term development goals.
Commitment to Innovation and Social Impact
The DAAYTA 2025 initiative underscores ARM’s dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), aiming to nurture a generation of transformative leaders. The program integrates innovation and societal impact, aligning seamlessly with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Its objective is to support business ideas that not only create financial returns but also drive meaningful change, enhance livelihoods, and promote environmental sustainability.
DAAYTA 2025 welcomes applications from startups with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and a customer base in critical sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, education, housing, and transportation. Eligible ventures must prioritize innovation, sustainability, and long-term societal benefits.
Program Structure
The DAAYTA 2025 Pre-Pitch Workshops and Award Presentations will take place in Lagos, Nigeria, in April, with provisions for virtual participation (hybrid format). Applications are open to incorporated limited liability companies from across Nigeria.
Key Benefits for Participants
The winner of DAAYTA 2025 will receive:
- ₦12,000,000 (twelve million naira) in funding over one year to support working capital.
- Enrollment in an Entrepreneurial Education Program at the Pan Atlantic University’s Enterprise Development Centre in Lagos, Nigeria (4–5 months).
- 5-month venture acceleration support from TVC Labs to enhance their business model and execution.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be Nigerian citizens aged 18–35.
- Submit an original business idea with an MVP and active customer base.
- Be running a duly registered limited liability company in Nigeria.
- Commit to attending all DAAYTA-related activities, including:
- Entrepreneurial education at the Enterprise Development Centre.
- A 5-month acceleration program (virtual or in-person).
- The 2-day Pitch Workshop and Final Pitch Event (April 9–10, 2025).
- Cover personal and team travel expenses if necessary.
- Demonstrate alignment with ARM’s values and serve as brand ambassadors.
Only shortlisted candidates will progress to subsequent stages of the program.
