FG to Launch National Values Charter in Q1 of 2025
President Bola Tinubu has announced the federal government’s plan to unveil the National Values Charter in the first quarter of 2025.
The initiative, already approved by the Federal Executive Council, aims to strengthen trust in the government by the citizens.
This was declared in his New Year message, earlier today.
“I will launch an ambitious national orientation campaign that fosters patriotism and love for our country and inspires citizens to rally together.” He stated.
The charter is designed to promote patriotism and ensure communication between the government and the citizens, aligning their interests with the administration’s.
In another revelation, President Tinubu announced that a Youth Confab will also take place in the first quarter of 2025; an avenue to bring the youths closer to his government. The Ministry of Youth will soon announce the selection process for conference representatives.
The president also urged governors and local council leaders to collaborate with the central government to maximize opportunities in agriculture, livestock, and tax reforms and he promised his administration’s support for all state-led initiatives.
He concluded by encouraging Nigerians to demonstrate moral integrity and unwavering allegiance to the nation, noting that these qualities are important for the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
