Natasha Osawaru, Edo State lawmaker and partner to music icon 2Baba (Innocent Idibia), surprised her mother with a brand-new car as a birthday gift to mark her 60th birthday.

The grand celebration, held over the weekend, was attended by family, friends, and notable figures including former Edo State Governor Lucky Igbinedion. A video from the event captured the emotional moment Natasha’s mother was presented with the car, drawing cheers from the crowd.

2Baba was also present and treated guests to a live performance of his classic hit “African Queen,” as his mother-in-law danced joyfully in appreciation. While many praised Natasha for the thoughtful gesture, it remains unclear if 2Baba contributed to the purchase of the vehicle.

The event quickly sparked conversations on social media, with several observers noting that the legendary singer appeared to be pushed into the background during the celebration.

One commenter wrote, “How did our legend become a spectator at his own in-law’s party?”
Another added, “Tuface just dey like furniture for background. Chai!”

Despite the mixed reactions online, the celebration stood out as a heartfelt gesture of love from Natasha to her mother, while also putting a spotlight on 2Baba’s subtle presence at the event.
